This number kept ringing, and when I looked up the caller ID, it showed it was from Bridgewater, Victoria. I didn’t answer since it seemed like another waste of time. I've learned a simple strategy for handling scammers: 1. Don’t answer the call. 2. If it's important, the caller will usually leave a message with their name and reason for calling. 3. Seriously, don’t answer the call! 4. Block the number if it continues.
This number is involved in a scam that pretends to offer quick personal finance services. Exercise caution if you receive a call from them.
The caller, who may be a telemarketer or scammer, asked if I was interested in a personal loan or other financial products. When I politely declined by saying "no thank you," he abruptly hung up without further discussion.
This number has a recorded message about marketing. They don't leave a message they are from a strange location for marketing. Caution.
