I understand that this number has been reported as a scam, which I appreciate. However, I wish there were an easier way to block these calls on my landline or mobile phone, as I'm not sure how to do that right now.
I have received multiple calls from this series of numbers, including (03) 5296 5284 and (03) 5296 5286. These calls appear to be nuisance calls, as they do not leave messages. They may also be spoofed scam calls. I have blocked them all.
I got a call while I was in Japan, and the caller ID showed it was from Tokyo. I opted not to answer, and I am relieved I didn't, as I suspect it was a scam. I am puzzled as to how it could appear to be from Tokyo when it wasn't.
I received around 30 calls from this number attempting to scam me. They later switched to a different number, (03) 9989 5900, but fortunately, my modem blocked them all. We had one week free from spam calls, which made me think they finally gave up, but it seems that was not the case.
I received the same call with identical information from this number. They appear to be just another annoying telemarketing company. As a business owner, I find these interruptions uncalled for.
I answered a call from someone named Christy (not sure about the spelling) who claimed to be with My Charity First. As soon as there was a delay upon answering, I suspected it to be a telemarketing call. Once I heard the typical "How are you doing today?" I politely replied and ended the call, then blocked the number.
I suspect this phone number is associated with a scam. It's one of several similar numbers I have been blocking recently, which seem to belong to scammers pretending to represent charities. They frequently switch between 03 and 02 area codes. The caller did not leave a message after the call. I have blocked this number.

This number did not leave a message when they called. I suspect it is a spam call.
This number is the sixth one I’ve blocked from a charity scam organization that relentlessly calls me every day. I keep trying to block them, but it seems they don't get the message!
Yep...I'm sick of receiving these calls. A robot call from My Charity so I gave her my thoughts in no uncertain terms.... To my surprise the robot said we don't accept that type of language. Geez a robot got precious about my response.... Well don't ring me robot at dinner time. Cheers Richard.
All I can say is... suspicious. Usual no message and follows a string of other numbers in the past few days and it looks like a bunch of others have been searching this number also. Spoofed or not spoofed I've blocked it.
I received a message stating, "Hello, we apologize for any inconvenience, as there is no (??) available to take your call, etc." The call originated from Colac, and I’ve received similar messages from other numbers. The voice sounded slightly accented, and they claimed to be associated with a charity, which I found annoying.
