This number rang my phone four times, but I wasn’t able to pick up. The call appeared to originate from Angelsea, Victoria, and I suspect it might be a scam.

I received three calls in quick succession from this number while I was unable to answer. When I called back using a blocked number, I heard a recorded message, spoken in an Asian accent, stating that they might have called me as part of a marketing campaign.

The caller inquired about the amount of a transaction, but I do not have an account with Bendigo Bank. They might have outdated contact details. As soon as I mentioned that I don’t bank with them, they hung up, leading me to suspect this is a scam.
