Got a call from this number about government payments and pension. We did not give him a positive reply since we know that it was a scam. He kept on calling and on occasions that I picked up he was abusive and even threatened to send the police to our house. He kept on ringing until I told him that we are ringing the police because we got his phone number.
This telemarketer, if not a scammer, is doing the same thing to me. Calls almost every night around 7:00 and says nothings. He must have it on mute as there is no noise at all, so he can listen to people's reactions and responses. Because this guy is doing this to multiple people he is probably getting his jollies from ready this. At some point, the law should be able to step in..... Will make inquiries.
Calls and says nothing every few days.
Yes we are receiving the same issues. He won't stop calling and is very aggressive.
Our house number is on private so not sure how he got it.
How do we stop him from making these calls?
Caller says he is going to help us pay off a mortgage quicker. After saying we are not interested he continued to call relentlessly. We asked him to place us on the "down not call" list but he only became abusive and continued to call. He was quite abusive and disgraceful.
Community reports are retained as historical safety signals within the Reverseau telecommunications safety dataset and may reflect different experiences over time.
