I answered the call, but the caller immediately hung up on me, which is highly suspicious and concerning.
I answered call - offshore call centre. Said they were offering up to $6k government rebates on reverse cycle air conditioning. I informed I already had one, thanked for call and hung up. No doubt a scam of some sort!
I received a call that appeared to be from Newtown, located in the Geelong area. I didn't answer and they left no message. The number looks suspicious, particularly because it begins with 4225.
