I answered a call from this number, and the caller immediately began a lengthy sales pitch about energy offers. I found it unconvincing and decided to hang up.
I answered the call and responded with my work title out of habit. Once I realized it was related to my work title, I hung up. However, I continue to receive persistent calls from the same number, despite informing them that I already have solar panels and am not interested in a new hot water service. I have even stated that I am on the do not call list, but it hasn’t made a difference.
The caller ID showed "Newtown." When I called back, I could only hear someone softly saying "hello" repeatedly, so I decided to hang up.

This number is being used from what appears to be a call centre for scamming. I reverse dialed but found no info so I called them to find out. They did not introduce themselves but assumed to use my name. They claimed to be talking about the government solar panel scheme. The first one I spoke to was Indian, the second one was Asian. When I asked them to remove my number from their list they asked "why?", the second one just hung up after I said it. They used both this number and 03 99686538.
During this call, the individuals did not provide their names but took the liberty of using mine. They mentioned they were from a government solar panel scheme. The first caller had an Indian accent and the second an Asian accent. When I requested that they remove my number from their contact list, the first person asked "why?" The second person hung up when I reiterated my request. This number and (03) 9968 6538 were both used to contact me.
