I am extremely frustrated with how my phone is being utilized for spam and scam calls. I urge the government and telecommunications companies to take action against this issue, as customers are becoming increasingly fed up and may start moving away from traditional phone services, leading to significant social unrest.

P
Pearcy
Spam

I received a call from a charity organization in the Philippines asking for donations. My advice is to not waste your time with them; just hang up!

K
Kozel
Spam

I receive constant daily calls from a number claiming to be "Bairnsdale." I decline the call every time because it's very intrusive, and I wish they would just leave me alone.

R
Rud
Scam

I received yet another scam call from a so-called Charity Kindness project, which I suspect is fraudulent.

D
Delgadillo
Suspicious

These persistent scam callers are incredibly frustrating. I avoid answering calls from unknown numbers and blocked this one weeks ago, along with several others that have similar patterns, yet they continue to call. I urge people to refrain from answering unknown numbers—doing so might help reduce this ongoing issue.

H
Hafner
Scam

The number and others from (03) 4108 9942, including 41 and 44, are associated with a charity service based in the Philippines. I suspect it might be a scam as their website, the Kindness Project Survey, provides a lot of irrelevant information.

Two calls within a day from 61345131008 with no message left. Always a sign to block the number in my opinion!

I also have a missed call with no message from 61341089940 just now so don't know if these numbers are related.

T
Tam
Suspicious

Blocking this number is likely a short-term solution because they can easily obtain a new phone number every day.

K
Kaczorowski
Suspicious

I've been getting dozens of calls from this number and others in the same range over the last couple of weeks. When I picked up a few times, the callers just hung up without saying anything.

K
Kruszewski
Spam

This number keeps calling and then hanging up! I've also noticed that they call from a similar number with just the last two digits changed each time, which is quite annoying.

T
Tingey
Scam

This number, along with several others from Bairnsdale, is involved in a scam. They claim to represent a charity called "Kindness something," but they've been barred from the Australian Charities register. I suggest just blowing a whistle into your receiver next time and blocking the call. I'm really fed up with this nonsense.

K
Kapp
Suspicious

This number called me twice just yesterday. I think it might be beneficial for everyone to advocate for the Telecommunications Ombudsman to create a database for nuisance callers. If a number receives a certain number of complaints, it could be blocked from calling through Australia’s telecommunications network. My mobile phone feels useless at the moment since I rarely answer calls from unknown numbers unless they leave a legitimate voicemail.

G
Grego
Suspicious

I receive multiple calls from different numbers, including (03) 4108 9940, (03) 4108 9942, (03) 4108 9941, (03) 4108 9943, and (03) 4108 9659, on a daily basis, sometimes as many as 4-5 times a day.

P
Passman
Scam

These callers are aggressive scammers who keep trying to reach me without ever leaving a message. I've blocked the numbers they use. I urge everyone not to answer unknown calls to help stop this wave of scams from affecting vulnerable individuals.

W
Waldo
Spam

I was contacted and asked to participate in a survey. When I declined, the caller stated they would call me back later, which seemed pushy.

D
Droste
Spam

Similar to other reports, I receive daily missed calls from this number as well as (03) 4108 9942 and (03) 4108 9941. Even after blocking these numbers, I am still notified of their attempts to call but there are no voicemails left, which is quite frustrating.

D
Dawe
Spam

I keep getting calls from this number, often with different last four digits. I'm considering answering and playing the song "F.O.C.U.S" by Jenny Talia, but I'm suspicious that it's a robocall trying to check which numbers respond to their calls.

B
Barclay
Scam

This number seems to belong to relentless scammers who previously called me from (03) 4108 9942. After blocking that number due to constant harassment, they have now switched to this new number, (03) 4108 9940. I'm really tired of being harassed by these scammers!

H
Henry
Legit

I keep getting calls from various numbers that all show up as being from Bairnsdale, Victoria. They never leave a voicemail or any message, which I find frustrating.

B
Bortz
Suspicious

I have received a total of six calls from various numbers, all originating from Bairnsdale, Victoria. I am skeptical of their legitimacy since I am registered on the Do Not Call Register, which appears ineffective against these persistent calls.

B
Berra
Uncertain

I answered a call from this number, but the caller immediately hung up. I didn't have a chance to engage with them.

S
Sartori
Scam

This number calls me daily, and I have noticed slight variations in the number each time. It's very concerning.

A
Astle
Suspicious

This number sounded like a call center located in India, where the caller claimed to be representing a charity. I did not trust the call and chose not to engage further.

A
