The caller had an Indian accent. When I mentioned that I was at work and couldn’t talk, she interrupted me, insisting that I "kindly give us a chance," and kept talking until I hung up. This seemed very unprofessional.
The call I received featured a very realistic robotic voice. I made a lighthearted comment about her sounding like a robot, to which she replied playfully. However, I ultimately decided to hang up. - (03) 4108 9747
I have received three calls from the number (03) 4050 8765 without anyone on the other end.
This is a robocall that hangs up as soon as you answer. If you call back, you get a recorded message from something called the Kindness Project, which seems suspicious and likely a scam call center.
This caller has been persistent, starting with numerous calls on my landline, and now they have started calling my mobile number as well. No matter how many times I hang up and block the numbers, I receive calls from similar numbers the next day. The calls seem to come from an overseas call center, based on the accents and delays, which is very frustrating and disruptive to my work.
This number called my mobile while I was at work. I accidentally rejected the call while trying to get my phone out of my pocket. I searched for the number online and found this website for more information.
I have been receiving calls from this number repeatedly, but I never answer them. It's frustrating that despite the advancements we've made, we still can't eliminate these scam calls! I’ve read that in the USA you can press *60 on a landline to block a specific number; I wish there were a similar method for mobile phones.
I suspect this call was a scam. When I returned the call, I was directed to a voicemail asking for my name and contact number, which seemed very suspicious.
I keep receiving calls from this number and several others from Bairnsdale that are incessantly annoying. They claim to belong to a charity called the Kindness Project, which is actually a scam—I learned that this charity was disbarred from the Australian Charities site in 2022. I recommend blocking the number and reporting it to your telephone provider, though they may or may not investigate.
This seems to be a scam operation. They call me and hang up at random times throughout the day. I answered one time, but they hung up right away. It feels like they're testing if this number is valid, which is very annoying.
This number has called me daily for the past week. My android/Google alerts that it is a potential scam so I have been rejecting the calls. I finally answered today only to have dead air on the other end. Have now blocked.
This number calls me at very random times, usually 2 to 4 times a day, often when my family is preparing dinner or sitting down to eat. They continue to call multiple times on weekends as well. Even after blocking the number, they have started using variations that are just one digit different, which is incredibly frustrating.
100% a scam caller, not an actual solar company. Legitimate solar companies won't call you if you're on the DNC register because the actual diallers themselves they use automatically reject your calling attempt if you enter a phone number that appears on the registry.
They claimed to be from the Kindness Project.
These callers have been persistent, and I wish they would stop contacting me. I’m frustrated as I thought the 'Do Not Call' Register would help stop these unwanted calls.
After I answered the call, there was a lengthy connection time before someone mentioned a "Kindness" program. The caller had what I believe was an Indian accent. I ended the call as I continue to receive numerous scam calls daily, despite being on the Do Not Call register. I'm now considering disconnecting my landline, as I've been hiding the phone in a drawer to avoid incessant spam.
This number has called me every day for an entire week, which has prompted me to block them. It's become quite frustrating to deal with such persistent calls.
After answering the call, I was connected to someone claiming to be from SunSmart Solar, trying to sell solar products. I noticed they had connection issues and suspected this was a scam.
Rang at 6 pm must be another shitty charity.
