Scam call just let it ring out.
I received a call on my landline from this number, but my phone automatically blocked it since it was out of my service area. I had previously received a call from (03) 4102 6090 a few days prior. When I tried to call back to find out who was reaching out, the call didn’t ring and went unanswered.
I answered my landline after a few rings and was connected to the caller, but they abruptly hung up without saying anything. Based on other reports, it appears that someone else may have picked up before me.
When I saw the number on my phone, I immediately realized it was not legitimate. There are no "03 41" area codes in Victoria; those are only used in Queensland.
I received a call from this number on my home landline. I let it ring and didn’t pick it up, allowing it to go to voicemail. They did not leave a message and hung up instead, which makes me think this is likely a scam.
I received an incoming robot or AI call posing as a charity survey at 11:15 am on Tuesday, August 29, 2023. The caller was insistent and did not accept “no” for an answer, trying to guilt-trip me into participating. It feels absurd to have to repeatedly tell a computer “no.” This experience was very uncomfortable.
Community reports are retained as historical safety signals within the Reverseau telecommunications safety dataset and may reflect different experiences over time.
