I answered the call, but there was silence on the other end. When I called back, I received a recorded message in Chinese. It seemed suspicious; it felt like one of those scams where someone claims to be an African prince. I have now blocked the number.
I received a scam call but did not answer it since I could recognize it as suspicious.
Called when it went to voice message they hung up.
This number called our landline today at 10:20 AM. I let it ring until it reached the voicemail but they didn't leave a message. Given this and the results from a reverse phone lookup, it's clear that this is a scam call.
There was a six-second delay when I answered this call, followed by a recorded message from someone named Chrissy expressing that she was calling from a charity. I hung up shortly after and blocked the number. It’s frustrating that the government needs to take more action against these criminal operations.
No message left. Another scammer, another number blocked.
I received a call from this number at 7 PM, but they did not leave any voicemail message. I noticed that this number has already been reported by other users as suspicious.
I missed the call and they did not leave a voicemail. I've identified them as another scammer, so I've now blocked this number.
This number is automatically blocked because it appears to be an out-of-area call. When I tried to call it back, it did not ring. My mobile phone warned me that it may be fraudulent, and I noticed it is registered in Traralgon, Victoria.
I answered the phone, but no one responded on the other end. I have since blocked this number.
Phoned today and let go to answering machine. No message left.
I received the third call today from an area code starting with 03. I have already reported two similar calls to this site. This latest call did not leave any message and seems to be another potential scam. The constant interruptions are very annoying.
Phoned me, no message left. Might be a scammer, might not be a scammer.
