I received a recorded message from a female voice claiming to be from the Department of Immigration. The tone was clearly intended to scare or intimidate visa holders, so I recommend just hanging up.
I received a call featuring a recorded message in an American accent stating, "This is the Australian Ministry of Health." It seemed suspicious, so I decided to hang up without engaging further.
This was a spam call from someone pretending to represent the Australian immigration office, which raised my suspicions.
Scam call.
Someone called me ignored, left a message, seems like a automated call. Where there something urgent happening and needs you to call back, most like to steal your credentials and your bank details or related to fake Chinese embassy scams.
0341022966 Just received foreign accent recorded message from this number SPAM CALLER.
A call from the number (03) 4102 2966 showed "Erica" on my caller ID, indicating it was a spam call. The caller played a loud recorded message in a foreign accent that began with "you have an important document..." before I hung up. I have been receiving spam calls weekly despite submitting security information to the WA police about break-in attempts, highlighting the concern over sharing personal numbers, even with authorities.
Community reports are retained as historical safety signals within the Reverseau telecommunications safety dataset and may reflect different experiences over time.
