This is another Chinese scam. The automated robotic voice informed me that my phone service has been disconnected, which is a common approach used in these deceptive calls.
This number has been calling me every day and is changing the last digit of the number with each call, which seems very suspicious.
I encountered a group of individuals with Indian accents pretending to be Chinese scammers. This raises significant concerns about their authenticity.
I received a call from this number today, which indicated it was based in Victoria. The call was in both English and Chinese; I selected English, but after just 5 seconds of speaking, they hung up on me. I attempted to call them back twice but they did not answer. This behavior strongly suggests they are scammers.
Missed call from this number. Left a voicemail. It said press 1 for English. Then it says in another language Chinese or other Asian dilect. Female voice something very fast talking and rushed and hung up.
Don't trust this number I believe it's a scammer.
I received a voicemail that I couldn't understand. The caller, presumably a woman, spoke very fast, likely in Chinese. I suspect this could be a scam attempt.
I received a scam phone call today. The caller spoke in both English and Chinese, which raised my suspicions about their legitimacy.
Answered the phone and they said an $1800 transaction has been requested under my Commonwealth bank account (which doesn’t exist). Gave me an option to press 1 to decline or 2 to approve the transaction. Hung up and blocked the caller after that.
I answered a call that had an automated message from someone named Olivia, claiming to be with Commonwealth Bank and mentioning suspicious activity on my account. However, I do not have an account with Commonwealth Bank, so I promptly hung up.
