A call about an epidemic emergency - press 1 if Australian, press 2 if Chinese student...
I hung up. Nonsense.
Spam - automated voice message upon answering.
This number is definitely a scam or something similar. It appeared to be spoofed as it came from a small town in Victoria. They called me but did not leave any message.
I received an automated call from this number that asked whether I am a Chinese student, which seemed clearly like a scam to me.
This number called me but didn’t leave any voicemail. Shortly afterward, I received an SMS from another number (0494 117 823). The message claimed to be from a company that helps people qualify for government-funded solar systems and earn extra income with no initial payment. The sender knew my name, but I already have solar panels and do not require additional services.
I received an AI-generated voice call that was providing information about an epidemic alert.
An AI voice called me, stating that my service would expire soon. This seems like a standard scam tactic to create urgency and pressure me into responding.
Didn't answer, no message left, other reviews suggest this is a scam number.
I received a call from an AI-generated voice claiming to be from a bank with which I do not have any accounts. This is likely a scam.
Scam.
This phone number is being used by scammers claiming to be from Vodafone.
