I received a call from this number, and it felt like a scam. The person sounded foreign, and I do not trust them at all. I recommend avoiding any interaction with this caller.
This number called me straight after a call from Ulladulla where gotalk provided a number that was a fixed number owned by a business.... lol. They were claiming to be from vodaphone.... This one called and left a garbage gabbering message.
I received a call yesterday that left a message asking me to press 1 for English or 2 for Chinese, and then it proceeded to speak a lot in Chinese. I received an identical call today from a different number, 03 4002 1042.
I believe this number is associated with scams. It would be beneficial if it could be traced and investigated further.
A caller from the number (03) 4100 3976 claimed to be from the Commonwealth Bank. When I asked for confirmation of their identity, the person stated again they were from the Commonwealth Bank. I sarcastically suggested that if they were indeed from the bank, they should send me a verification signal through their app. They immediately hung up after that.
Called me, I answered, they didn’t say anything and hung up. Worst scam ever.
A recorded voicemail from this number claimed to be from Vodafone, stating that my plan information is incomplete. They warned that my service would be disconnected within 2 hours if I didn't call back, which appears to be a tactic to instill panic.
Scam call which was automatically blocked by my phone. Caller left a pre-recorded voicemail message in Chinese.
The caller ID showed "Cabbage Tree" as the name. When I answered, a recorded voice introduced itself as Brenda from ANZ Bank. I hung up immediately because it felt suspicious.
This call originated from Cabbage Tree Creek, Victoria, on August 13, 2024. The nature of the call seemed unusual and raised some concerns.
I received two unsolicited calls from this number on the same day. In one call, the caller insisted that I stop calling them after I had already answered. In the other call, the caller began singing in a foreign language, which was quite unusual.
This was a scam call I received from someone named Olivia claiming to be from Commonwealth Bank regarding a $1800 transaction. It was an automated recording. I hung up immediately when they mentioned Commonwealth Bank, as I don’t have an account with them.
Unknown number so sent to voicemail, computer/recorded message in Chinese so I deleted it straight away.
I received a call from a number registered in Cabbage Tree Creek, Victoria. I don't know anyone from that area, which makes this call suspicious to me.
Called me but I didn't pick-up as I didn't recognise the number. It left me a voicemail, when I listened to the voicemail it spoke in Chinese, then I deleted it straight away.
Just got a call from this number.. didn't recognise it so didn't answer.
