Had a call from this number which I did not pick up and yet no message was left.
Most likely scammer’s…
Scam!
I too received calls from the same number, which is located in Cabbage Tree Creek, regarding an epidemic. They seem to be harassing callers about this issue.
I got a call from a number that seems to be from Cabbage Tree Creek, but they didn’t leave any message. I consider this a frustrating attempt by scammers.
I answered a call from this number, but there was complete silence on the line, and the call ended abruptly. I've received four calls from them this month, and I have no idea what their objective is, but it certainly feels questionable.
The caller claimed to be from Vodaphone, stating that my contract would be cut off due to incomplete details. However, I have never had a contract with Vodaphone. I consider this a scam call.
Apparently comm bank with an attempt on car not even with them.
This number is definitely associated with scammers. They made a call claiming to be from Microsoft, attempting to trick me into locking my PC. I called back the 1800 number they provided but quickly decided against continuing the call and hung up. The call back came from Cabbage Tree Creek. It's clearly an obvious scam.
I received a call from a number associated with Cabbage Tree Creek, which I find suspicious since they did not leave any message. Moreover, this same number has been reported as a scam by another family member as well.
The caller identified themselves as from Cabbage Tree Creek, followed by a recorded message claiming to be the Commonwealth Bank regarding an unauthorized transaction. Since I have not had an account with this bank in over 15 years, I decided to hang up.
On the same day, I received two calls just four minutes apart from numbers (03) 4100 3975 and (03) 4100 3977. Both seem to be associated with a scam regarding a supposed charge on my account, prompting me to "press 1 to cancel."
I received a voice message claiming to be from the Australian Government, which I strongly suspect is a scam. I have since deleted the message and blocked the number.
Claiming to be Optus, cancelling my account. I don’t use Optus as my provider.
Fake Optus.
The call claimed to be from Cabbage Tree Creek, Victoria, an extremely remote location where I don't know anyone. They left no message after the call.
I received a scam call from someone pretending to be from the Vodafone call center. They falsely claimed that my service would be cut off in just two hours. However, I am not a Vodafone customer at all.
I received a phone call purporting to be from Vodafone, asking me to update my information. However, I haven't been a customer of theirs for over a year, which suggests this is likely a scam.
