Scammer number.
I received a call from a number that played a recorded message in an Australian accent. The message claimed to be from CBA Bank and stated that I didn't have enough funds in my account to pay a bill. I found this concerning and hung up immediately.
This number has been used as a scam call, who rang back repeatedly trying to say they were a bank, Acc had been compromised & needed to open a new acc under their direction. Very rude & persistent scumbag.
Suspected phone number not from my friends’s list! Just let the ringtone stopped and then blocked it straight away! Recently I almost receive unknown calls everyday. I would think these scam calls should be taken to court.
The caller stated that my internet was set to public and wanted remote access to my computer in order to "fix" the issue. This raised a red flag for me.
Chinese robo scammers. I pressed 1 (you can press any number) to waste their time and tried to order food, but they didn't appreciate it for some reason. I suppose I shall have to make my own Wonton Soup.
They left a voicemail asking me to choose between Chinese and English, claiming to be from Vodafone regarding an issue with my account. The problem is, I don’t have a Vodafone account! 😠
Assumed to be a spam call, voicemail was pnly partial and said "service is incomplete and will be terminated, press 1 for english and 2 for chinese"
Scam - I received a call from someone claiming to be from Vodafone, saying that my application was incomplete and that my service would be cut off in 2 hours if I didn’t respond.
I received an automated message stating they didn't have my details and that my service would be discontinued in 2 hours. This sounded like a clear phishing attempt, so I hung up.
The call quickly transitioned to a pre-recorded message about various tech solutions. It was frustrating as it kept me on hold, and the recording had an Indian accent. I strongly recommend hanging up if you encounter this.
I received a voicemail that claimed to be from my Vodofone account, stating it was short on information. The voicemail instructed me to press 1 for English and 2 for Chinese. I strongly believe this is a scam targeting unsuspecting users.
The message left on my voicemail claimed to be from the Vodafone service center, which raised my suspicions. I believe this is a spam call.
