I received two phone calls today from the number (03) 4050 8533. I'm extremely frustrated with these calls and believe that this number should be flagged for unwanted communication.

It's likely that this is a scammer. There was a long pause before anything connected when I answered and then I heard the scratchy background sound like an overseas caller - it was loud and then an Indian national sounding voice saying "hello". I hung up at that point as I know that who ever it is up to NO good. I just called the number back and it said that the number could not be connected - please check the number. So they somehow hook onto an Australian landline number and then as soon as the number has been answered it is no longer contactable - which is what scammers do.
