From the comments I’ve seen, this caller pretends to be from Origin, which is concerning because Origin is trying to contact me regarding my direct debit adjustments. I am aware of this issue and won’t disclose any information based on incoming calls. It's eerie how this caller seems to know I’m in contact with Origin, so everyone should remain cautious.
The caller identified themselves as representing Origin Energy and stated my full name, asking me to press 1 if it was correct regarding an overdue bill. However, I am currently with Origin and have no overdue bill, so I hung up after realizing the discrepancy in the number's area code.
