Scammer.
SCAM: Pretended to be Telstra, said my number was being used fraudulently, then started speaking Chinese.
Scam called claiming it was Vodafone in Chinese.
Calls on Easter Saturday public holiday from Mildura, Victoria numbers:
03 4050 4692.
03 4050 4694.
03 4050 4696.
Didn’t answer two of them and blocked after checking reverse number reviews online. I then answered 03 4050 4694 without saying a word and heard a recording that said a parcel was unable to be delivered.
SPAM Scam call / block numbers.
Advertising company do not answer! They called during business hours on Easter Friday! No one is at work! Definitely spam!
I am really frustrated with our federal government for not taking action against nuisance and scam callers in Australia. It’s incredibly annoying to have our mobile numbers sold to cold callers and scammers. I wish they would prioritize prosecuting these offenders to reduce this harassment.
The call started with the words "Chinese embassy," continuing in what I assume was Chinese. It was difficult to understand, and the purpose of the call was unclear.
Community reports are retained as historical safety signals within the Reverseau telecommunications safety dataset and may reflect different experiences over time.
