Unsolicited phone call. Asked to press 2 for info. Message left in chinese.
This is a scam number. They called and left a pre-recorded voice message, stating that my phone number would be deleted in two hours, followed by a message in Chinese.
I received a call stating, "Your phone service will be disconnected in 2 hours if you don’t..." This is clearly a scam! I've received this same recorded message four times in the past week, each time from a different number.
Scam call don’t take it!!
Scam!!!
Unexpected call from Vic, nowhere near my location in Aus. Let answering machine take call - no message. Checked Reverse Au for the number and no previous hits BUT there were 7 numbers all with 03400300XX numbers that had been checked over 30 times this month!
Scammer or someone wanting information or money from you - Ignore.
I received a call from this number, but they left no voicemail. I've heard that numbers starting with 03 4003 0XXX are often spoofed, which raises my suspicions about this call.
Community reports are retained as historical safety signals within the Reverseau telecommunications safety dataset and may reflect different experiences over time.
