I saw that I had a missed call from this number. My Google Pixel phone automatically identified it as a spam call, suggesting it might not be trustworthy.
The caller was a recorded message claiming to be from ANZ Bank regarding my account. I do not have any accounts with ANZ, indicating that this is likely a scam.
The number called my mobile on August 1, 2024. When I answered, there was no one on the other end and the call was disconnected shortly thereafter.
Just had a call from this number claiming to be from commonwealth bank wanting me to press a button to approve or decline a transaction for $1800 from my savings account. I hung up.
Missed call no message. Looks like another scammer, had a similar call from 0340027047 from a place called Underbool …….????????
Scam - Message2Text transcription of voicemail left: "Please press one, chinese query reasons. Please press two."
Missed calls from 03 4002 7041; 7046; and 7043. I managed to answer one and it just terminated. Calling these numbers back takes you to a “Delta Telecom” recorded menu. Requesting to speak to a person puts you on hold with holding music. No one picked up. Not sure what’s going on, but probably a scammer.
Community reports are retained as historical safety signals within the Reverseau telecommunications safety dataset and may reflect different experiences over time.
