Do not answer this call!
Message left on my mobile:
"You have an urgent document notification for details. Please press one for English. Please press two for Chinese." Message2text.
I gather this should say it all. Treat this as scam. phishing. unsafe.
I advise against answering this call! They left a message on my mobile purporting to contain an "urgent document notification." The message instructed pressing one for English and two for Chinese. Based on this, I strongly suspect it is a phishing scam.
It is usually a strong indication of a scam when the caller goes to the trouble of ringing but never leaves a message. I believe these individuals should be tracked and dealt with accordingly.
Unknown number called. No message left presume spam & number blocked.
I received a call from an unknown number that didn't leave a voicemail. I suspect it could be spam and have decided to block it.
I recommend hanging up on this number, as they are likely scammers trying to take advantage of unsuspecting individuals.
When I answered this call, I was greeted with an automated message claiming to be from the immigration department and located in Ouyen, Victoria. I suspect this is a SCAM.
Scam. They know the first/second language you speak even. Don't answer/call back.
I answered a call that began with a recorded message regarding a supposed epidemic notice, asking me to select 1 if I was a Chinese student. The entire call felt incredibly scammy and untrustworthy.
I listened to the voicemail, and it was a strange message where the caller asked students to press two. It mentioned an epidemic emergency notice. For Australian citizens, they instructed to press one, and for Chinese or international students, to press two.
I received an automated call claiming to be from the immigration bureau. The voice mentioned this organization, and I promptly hung up.
The caller claimed to represent the immigration department, stating they have contacted me multiple times, but I have never received any prior communication from them. They had a typical scammer’s accent which sounded Chinese. Their persistent attempts are quite annoying.
I received a scam call that only produced a dial tone when I answered, leaving me unsure of the caller's intentions.
The caller stated that my phone service would be cut off in 2 hours. This sounded like a scam.
This is yet another scam call that has wasted my time. I do not appreciate being targeted by such fraudulent attempts.
This call is definitely a scam. I do not have a PayPal account.
Indian scammer, number spoofed, didn’t like being told that his family must be disgusted with what he does, hung up.
