This number has been calling me repeatedly every day from a Chinese caller. I have now blocked the number, so I hope that will stop the incessant calls.
Received a strange message stating that "phone services will be stopped in 30 minutes." It felt urgent and suspicious.
I received a call claiming that I had not collected an important document. The caller spoke first in English and then switched to Chinese. This variation makes the call suspicious, and I think it's best to ignore such messages.
This phone number is chinese scammers.
I received an automated voice call that was attempting to impersonate the "government." It sounded suspicious and raised red flags for a scam.
The call was an automated scam. When I attempted to call them back, I was put on hold indefinitely.
Pure scam calls, designed to scam students.
The caller left a recorded voice message discussing an epidemic outbreak. They requested that international students press 1, while Australians were instructed to press 2. The message had a Filipina accent, and I decided to block the caller and delete the record of this call.
Appears to be a scam for students foreign voice.
I received two calls from numbers starting with 4002 within a half-hour, the second call coming after I had already blocked the first. The calls featured Chinese recordings, which were concerning.
This call was definitely not from a local area. The caller left a message discussing immigration matters, which seems suspicious.
This is definitely a scam call. The caller left an automated voicemail message without any personal touch, which is a strong indication of a scam.
I received a call from this number but didn't answer. My Truecaller app blocked it, but they left a voicemail that said they needed my ID card and passport information. The message instructed me to press 1 for English or 2 for Mandarin. Despite the English prompt, the voicemail continued in Mandarin. It seems the recording only captured the first five seconds of their conversation. In my opinion, this call is a scam, so I recommend not answering it.
Definite scam caller. Anyone falling for Covid stuff these days needs to throw away their phone.
詐騙電話 - Google translate for the Chinese out there.
Missed call and called back and you get out in hold. Says “welcome to de- emify solutions. Please be on hold and we’ll get to you” No idea who they are. Blocking as it’s probable spam.
Scam targeting Chinese and local students that talks about “COVID epidemic”, lol.
Spam.
The number (03) 4002 1047 seems to be spoofed by scammers, as they often manipulate caller IDs to make it look like the call is coming from a local or familiar number.
I received a call that delivered an automated AI-recorded message regarding an “epidemic emergency notice.” This kind of call seems to be becoming increasingly common and gives me the impression that it's a scam.
