Doesn't make sense for me, I had a missed call from this number but haven't dealt with "the National Broadband Network" (being only my installer in person) since my upgrade a long time ago. Treat this as highly suspicious as, as a regular consumer you'll only deal with your company directly, you can't "talk" to the National Broadband Network, only your company can.

I suspect that other comments on here could be astroturfing for a scam/spam company.

It seems that your internet service provider (ISP) might be controlled by another ISP. The situation with TPG and iiNet is an example of this, or your ISP may simply be purchasing services from another larger ISP.
