This number keeps ringing. Though we have placed this number on the blacklist they will leave messages (sounds of a call centre). When you try to ring the number it says the number is not no longer in service. SO ANNOYING!!!! Planning to report it to Scamwatch.
This number just won’t quit! Even though we put it in the black list, they keep trying with those annoying call center messages. Tried calling it back and they said the number is no longer in service. Seriously, it’s beyond frustrating!
A guy named Michael claiming to be from Google Apps saying that our account has been taken over by him and that he is now our manager. He had the name of the person in charge of our account and wanted to to speaking to them about offers. Could be legit but you just don't know!
Left a non english voice message on our phones early this morning. The caller didn't speak but you could hear lots of non speaking english voices in the background. Scammer! Blocked Now!
This number's got me feeling uneasy. Left a voice mail early today, but it was just a chaotic mess of voices – they didn’t say a single word. It sounded dodgy! I’ve blocked them straight away.
These blokes just don’t quit with the calls—always ringing with no one on the other end. Blocked the number, and they still keep trying. What a pain!
These jokers are back again! They disappear for a few weeks then come crawling back. Not sure if they’re affiliated with Google or just pretending to be, but they never leave a message. Just blocked 'em – my phone's had enough of this nonsense!
These numpties keep ringing me. They called saying they were from Google wanting something about my store photos. When I asked him to send an email, his response was “Yeh...whatever,” then he hung up. Total scam!
So this bloke claimed to be from Google, right? Could hardly understand him. Told him to shoot an email instead. Didn't ask for my details, but I reckon things could've gone south if I’d played along. Just feels off...
I believe this number is legitimate. I filled out a form somewhere regarding Google Ads, and this was a call from Google Partners in response to that inquiry.
The caller claimed to be from Google and insisted on asking me security questions. This seems suspicious since they called me first, making it likely a scam attempt.
I am repeatedly receiving calls from someone claiming to be a Google Ads account manager. I have asked them not to call me, but they continue to do so.
No, scammer.
Scammer pretending to be from Google Ads. Told me my Google Ads were "paused" when they were not. Chasing credit card details for a scam. Block it.
This isn't a legitimate call; it was a scam. They claimed that my Google Ads account was "paused" when it wasn't, and they were persistently trying to obtain my credit card details.
This caller was a legitimate Google Ads Account Manager. They left a message, addressed me by my account name, and called a number that is not typically listed for Google Ads, which confirms their legitimacy.
I received a call from someone who claimed to be from Google Maps, asking to verify our new phone number for their listing. When I pressured him for more information and asked to speak to a manager, he abruptly hung up. This is definitely a fake call— I recommend avoiding and blocking this number.
This caller is attempting to collect personal information related to businesses. Use caution and do not share any details.
I was contacted by a person claiming to be from Google Ads who wanted to discuss our sales campaign at work. They said it would take 30-45 minutes for a "survey". I requested that they send us an email instead.
This number called my business line, and almost immediately followed up with a call to my personal mobile. Shortly after, I received an SMS claiming to be from Google Maps. It's worth noting that Google Maps typically does not initiate phone calls to request information verification, making this situation highly suspect.
I am experiencing constant harassment from Google. I can’t even call back the number, as it states the number is no longer active. This practice is incredibly frustrating.
I received two calls from this number while I was in my vehicle. The caller's speech was hard to understand, but they seemed to inquire about my 'business.' They also mentioned that the call was being recorded for training and coaching purposes, which added to my discomfort.
I just spoke with this number, and the caller claimed to be from Google Ads in the Philippines. I'm unsure how to verify the legitimacy of their claim, which raises concerns about it being a potential scam.
I missed two calls from this number within 30 minutes. When I called back, I got an automated message that falsely identified itself as "Google Maps." This is likely a scam attempt.
I believe this person claims to be a Google account specialist, but their behaviors seem very suspicious and dodgy.
Google Ads trying to con people into spending more on ads. Slow clap.
It's actually Google Ads, not a spammer lol, however they're still pretty useless, and their only interest is to get you to spend more money on ads without any tangible results.
Common advice includes switching to broad match keywords, changing campaign strategy to maximise conversions and other tactics that will just waste money on most campaigns unless you have exceptionally good tracking in Google Analytics, which most small businesses don't.
So do yourself a favour and ignore their calls and just work with a Google Ads consultant who will actually help you get more sales/leads while spending less on your ads:-)
This is a legitimate call from Google trying to assist with optimising Ads accounts. I have worked with them many times.
Sounds like a telemarketer talking to me as if I already know them... Gave a name, not where he was from and continued to babble on. I don't know whether these ones or the AI scam donation calls lately are more annoying.
During the call, the person spoke to me as if I were an acquaintance, using a name but not stating where they were from. They rambled on about something, and I couldn't determine if it was a telemarketer or one of the recent annoying AI scam calls asking for donations.
This number calls my phone every single day around mid-morning. It is clearly a spam call, so I do not answer.
Pretended to be Irwin from Google about how I can optimise my Google advertising. Made me laugh, given how uncontactable anyone from Google Inc is IRL.
Jermey. Google telemarketer.
Spam caller.
