Got a called from this number today and found it was a scam.
The caller claimed to work for AGL and was trying to sign me up for a new plan. However, I am already on a new plan with them. This raises red flags that they may be attempting to obtain my direct debit details under false pretenses.
I missed a call from this number, but when I checked my voicemail, it sounded like it came from a call center, which raises concerns about the legitimacy of the call.

Disgusting behaviour!
Indian may be from India but with Sydney number for so called discount energy offer, they will ask you to sign up to new provider Energy Australia unknowinly, they know many things about your data including your full name, ph, address in deails but we don't know where did they get all those from, if you unknownly agreed then you have been signed up to new energy company by them online on behalf no matter you want it or not.

This number called me randomly, and it’s highlighted as spam, so I decided to hang up without engaging.
SCAM!!! They said they want to talk to me about the electricity in my name. I DON’T have electricity in my name…. I’ve blocked many of their numbers & asked them NOT to call me again… and yet they still do!! Freakin annoying!!!
I told them to stop calling me & yet they still continue to talk at me when I say - take me off your call list!!

I suspect that this call was a scam because I live in Queensland, and I have received similar suspicious calls before.

I received a missed call on my business number. When I called back, a recorded message informed me that the surgery's phone line has been hacked. It advised not to leave any personal information in the voicemail, but only my name, and that they would return my call.
