The caller reached out but did not leave any message. Based on this, I assume it to be spam and am not concerned.
Pretending to be from a telco company and providing cheaper solution.
No idea who they are calling, very pushy, voice seemed to be from non English speaking.
Called back the number. Got an Optus message saying number is disconnected. Scam caller.
The caller asked for me by name but did not identify themselves. I found this suspicious and promptly blocked their number.
Scam call about internet provider.
I received a call from someone claiming to offer Optus Broadband along with a free modem. However, the person sounded very suspicious and came across as pushy and aggressive throughout the conversation.
Received a call from someone claiming to be from Optus who knew my name. When I mentioned that the account isn’t in my name, he kept asking me numerous questions. I decided to hang up due to his persistence.
Missed call from this number. Called back and got “Your call couldn’t be connected. Pls check the number and try again”. So presumably a spoof number.
I received a call from this number, and the caller seemed to know my address but abruptly hung up without revealing their identity. This made me quite suspicious.
I typically do not answer calls from unknown numbers. I found this number online and saw a complaint from someone on the same day, leading me to believe it is likely a spam call.
They left a message accidentally of them just breathing. Call centre noise in the background.
Said they were a telco company and ask me for photo id and Medicare card. They need this to drop of a new router. Said something about working with Telstra and Optus. Offering a cheaper deal. She had a foreign voice Maybe a scam.
I answered and there was no sound from the other end of the line so I hung up. They phoned back again, I let it ring out and tried calling the number back straight away but it doesn’t ring.
