Yep received a landline call from a bloke by the name of Kevin Jones who is an officer for the ATO with very poor English well after a bit of stringing along and refusing to give him the information he required he then proceeded to tell me he had no other option but sign the warrant for my arrest for tax fraud and that my local police dept will put me in jail for a very very long time, they need to be caught and strung up by the pupa dums.

These pests are so persistent. Could not reach me on my mobile so tried the landline and left a threatening message. They also tried my husband's mobile. They should just crawl back into their hole or back under their rock.

Yes just a scam. They should get a real job instead of annoying people who have real problems in their life.

Got a voicemail from this number that was left over the weekend. Only the end of the message got recorded, but all it was was a guy leaving a phone number, and then he said that "if you do not call back or turn yourself in to the nearest New South Wales police department, a warrant will be issued for your arrest for Tax Fraud". I'm in WA, and I googled the number to double check, and confirmed that it was a scam so I simply deleted the message and won't bother calling back.

We had this near exact message some months ago from the same number, only they didn't leave a message, they called us and it was a recorded message. My boss called the number back and she discovered that it was a scam.

Honestly, they should disconnect this bloody number already! So many people have been scammed by these losers and have lost money because of it!

Each entry is generated when individuals who received calls or messages from a number submit a report through our review form. Reports include a caller safety rating (1–5 scale) and a written account of the interaction. All submissions are moderated before publication.

The safety rating shown on this page reflects the collective assessment of (02) 9099 5795 by real users. It measures perceived caller risk, not the quality of this page. A low rating indicates that reporters consider this number likely to be associated with scam or spam activity.
