Got a call from this number saying I owed big dollars to the 'tax department'.

I have enjoyed spamming the hell out of them by calling them sooooo many times! I usually get the same guy who now just sounds so dejected. If I get the answering machine I just leave grindcore music as a message... And I'm going to keep on doing this until they disconnect their number!!!

Spam these guys back, it does their heads in, it's so much fun on an otherwise boring day, and while they are talking to you they're not scamming some poor victim of their frauds! :-D.

Just had same message on my answering machine. It's so obvious it's a recorded message I just had to laugh. The "don't ignore" at the end is the cherry on the cake!!! If I had more time I would call them just to stir them a bit.

I received a message on our company machine yesterday morning, a robotic message giving me a case number WX2000754 and advising me to call this number as legal action by the Taxation department is being taken and it was not to be ignored. In a panic I called this number to get a Indian man by the name of Paul Smith telling me he was from the taxation department and legal action is being taken against us regarding outstanding money from 2015. As soon as I started asking questions who I had called again he started to get aggressive and as soon as I mention I would call my accountant to find out what was happening he hung up on me.

I spoke to our accountant and she has confirmed this is a scam!
