Path Careers.
Tried to tell me that a diploma in Business and Management, or Leadership would help my chances in finding a job (apparently because I'm technically unemployed).
They told me they got my number from an online survey I filled out.
I received a call from this number. She was an American and identified herself as a recruitment agency (spoke too fast to hear the company name) and she got my number from an employer of theirs. I am unemployed and have been applying for a number of jobs. She tried to convince me that I would have better prospects if I signed up to do a Diploma course. When I told her how old I was and that I had over 40 years experience in administration and that a diploma would not provide me with any more skills than I already have, she hung up on me.
Supposedly some place called something like "Path Careers". Sounded very much like an overseas telemarketer, rang at almost 6:00pm at night - refused to tell me where she got my number. When I told her it all sounded suspicious she said she didn't want to talk to me either.
Was about employment/careers recruitment for all over Australia. No idea how they got my mobile number. Sounded like an overseas telemarketer as there was a delayed reaction when I answered & lots of noise in background .
