I recommend not answering this call unless you are actively looking for a new energy provider, as it may not be legitimate.
When being asked how much I pay for my internet service I said it’s non of your business, he’s calling back to abuse me. But I didn’t give him the chance to finish what he wants to say and blocked.
I called this number back immediately and even though it is clearly a Sydney landline, the response was, "The mobile number you have dialed is disconnected" So yeah, it's definitely some type of spoofed scammy number. Don't answer.
Scammer for sure... don't answer or simply hang up as soon as they speak.
Am receiving different calls every day from an Indian call Centre claiming to be an Australian telecommunications company - the latest was from this number - 02 9098 5756. Under Australian law if you request to be removed from a phone or email marketing list and the company does not do so they are breaching the law. This scammer does not care and keeps calling. They are quite aggressive and rude if you do not listen to their rubbish script.
