During a phone call, a woman claimed that the state government is subsidizing an upgrade for hot water systems for $200. I believe this is untrue and just a phishing attempt for personal information. I told her I recently upgraded my system and was not interested, and I have since blocked her number.
A call came in on Saturday at 5:30 PM, but I chose not to answer, and they didn't leave a message. It's likely a scam or a prank.
Received a call from this number, guy was with an Irish accent, Left a Message on Phone. He was bit agressive did not provide any reference or name he was calling to. He said "calling from ATO legal department Common wealth goverment Infrindgment from Canberra. That number not any more exists/ Disconnected.
I'm in WA, High Wycombe. Got call giving this number to call back, claiming there was a legal case against me from the "Tax office" for tax evasion. Not likely. Both Scamnet & the Aust taxation Office said this was a scam.
I also received a phone call from this number, claiming to be the ATO Fraud Department.

This number rang me and claimed to be the Australian Taxation Office, asking me to call back as there was a legal case for Tax Evasion and Fraud to be answered. There was no reference number (which the ATO ALWAYS gives), so I believe this to be a scam call.
