The number called me today and Telstra told me it was suspicious calling pattern so no need to answer.
This number called me, and after checking with my service provider Telstra, they informed me that it exhibited suspicious calling patterns. Therefore, I decided not to answer the call.
I received a call featuring an automated message indicating that a payment was flagged from PayPal. The message instructed me to follow their prompts, but I hung up immediately. I then logged into PayPal from another device and found there was no such purchase listed. This is a SCAM.
A voicemail was left in Chinese, claiming to be from Immigration Services. I believe this to be a scam, and I encourage others to report similar calls to their telecom provider.
Scam/骗局 call. Starts with” Press one for English press, two for Chinese…”. Then they start playing a pre-recorded Chinese message. Blocked.
