I received a call from someone claiming to be with Telstra, warning that my internet service would be shut off within 24-48 hours. I told them I wasn't with Telstra and firmly believe this was a scam attempt.
This number called me, but I let it go to voicemail. They didn't leave any message, and given the lack of communication, I’ve decided to block and report them.
I received a robocall where a Chinese-speaking female was talking in Chinese. I couldn't understand what she was saying, and it seems like a poor attempt at a scam. They should try using an American or Canadian accent to sound more credible.
The caller claimed to be from Telstra's technical department, offering to assist with internet issues. While I had my colleague on hold regarding passport matters, they claimed they could help but hung up after just a few minutes, expressing frustration. We endured three hours of hold music before being assisted with the passport issue. Thankfully, I am not traveling at the moment.
