A man with an Indian accent called me, claiming to be from the Commonwealth Bank and asked if I had authorized a payment to a travel company. When I requested that he email me the details, he hung up abruptly.
Scam number.
I received a call from a computer-generated voice claiming that my Gmail account has been compromised. This is a total scam, and I advise everyone not to provide any personal information in response to such calls.
The phone rings three times before hanging up without leaving a message. I suspect this is a scam call and have chosen to block the number.

The caller, who had an Indian accent and sounded like they were in a call center, claimed to be from Telstra. They informed me that my computer had been infected while I was browsing the internet. I decided to hang up the call.
181110: I received a call from Indian scammers pretending to be Amazon representatives. They tried to persuade me to install remote access software like TeamViewer, likely to take control of my phone or computer and access my accounts. I strongly recommend hanging up and protecting your information.
I received multiple calls within a few minutes. During one call, a man with an Indian accent claimed that my internet connection was not secure and offered to provide a solution. I hung up immediately.
I received a call from a female claiming to be from Amazon. When I informed her that this number is registered on the 'Do Not Call' list, she abruptly hung up on me.

An Indian man called and claimed that he could offer a discount of AU$99.90 for some purchases on Amazon. He asked me to download an app that would give him access to my phone by connecting his computer to it. I refused to comply, as this raised serious red flags about his intentions.
The caller claimed they were from Amazon and stated that my membership was about to be renewed for $99. It didn't sound legitimate, and I am suspicious of this call.

I got a call from this number claiming that my NBN line has been 'hacked'. I believe this may be a scam attempt.
