I received a call at 2:45 AM from this number, which seems very suspicious to me, especially at such an unusual hour.
I received a phone call from this number at 9:17 PM, which I found to be an unusual and suspicious time for a call. Immediately recognizing it as a potential scam, I decided to let the phone ring without answering, and later confirmed my suspicion through this report thread.
Call from this number today, they refused to tell me where they were calling from, they hung up. So frustrating since I'm on the do not call register. Scam.
This is definitely a scam! I strongly dislike these people and wonder how they can live with themselves. The caller claimed that I had made a purchase for an iPhone on Amazon. The call ended abruptly when I mentioned that I do not have an Amazon account.
They are scammers. They claim to be from Visa card and that fraudulent activity has been detected on you credit card. Then they redirect you to your bank supposedly.
Recorded message pretending to be National Broadband Network about over usage of our line. I don't use them in my name, and they don't have my number, so know it's not a legitimate call.
Scam call proporting to be from Telstra and that there is heavy usuage on my line.
Told them to "get F*ked".
