I received two calls from the number (03) 7044 4042. I decided to call back while browsing the internet. Interestingly, the hold time mentioned kept increasing as I waited in the queue, which was quite frustrating. I spent a total of 30 minutes on hold before the call was unexpectedly disconnected after I was supposedly 'first in line.' I strongly advise blocking this number if you get a call from them.
The caller identified themselves as someone from Telstra, discussing my internet connection. There was a significant amount of background chatter, and it was clear that the caller did not know who they were speaking to, raising my suspicions.
The caller asked if they were speaking to Mrs. Sandra but then hung up abruptly without providing any further information.
This is a clear call center scam. The caller pretended to be from Telstra and tried to obtain my IP address by claiming it is no longer private. Please be cautious with this number.
I received a call from someone claiming to be from Amazon, stating that my address was incorrect and they needed it to send my iPhone 12. I found this suspicious and chose to hang up without providing any information.
When I called this number, I was greeted with a message saying, "Hi, welcome to Diamond Plaza."
I was contacted by someone claiming to be from Telstra, who informed me that my internet connection was compromised and offered to help check my IP address.
Also tried calling and also got the pre-recorded Diamond Plaza message, inviting me to hold the line for the next available person. No thanks.
Missed call today showing from Bankstown. On call back, automated message saying they are Diamond Plaza.
The user reported this number as a spam call but did not answer when it rang.
I called back the number but was met with an automated message stating that they are from Diamond Plaza.
When I answered this call, I could only hear a man laughing in a creepy manner, which was unsettling!
I received a call from this number and encountered a pre-recorded message from Diamond Plaza, asking me to hold for the next available representative. I have no interest in engaging with them, so I declined to stay on the line.
The callers claimed to be from Telstra, offering a 50% discount on my phone bill. However, I know that Telstra does not conduct business this way, so I suspect it was a scam.
When I called this number back, I was greeted by an automated voice that said, "Hi, welcome to Diamond Plaza!"
