A person called my newly opened business about an NBN connection. The conversation was misleading and unethical, as the caller falsely claimed to represent an internet service provider. I suspect they may be a scammer, so I advise caution.

He did the same to my client too. My client said she will give the number to accoutant (me) to call. When I called them, they talked about National Broadband Network and asked if the shop has just changed the ownership which affects the National Broadband Network. But I said No then he said its okay then and hang up.

This is definitely a scammer. Never heard of shop changing ownership would affect the National Broadband Network.LOL.

This number called my business asking about our phone line and NBN service. As a new owner, I have already paid all my bills, so I don’t understand why they are calling. They have persistently called at different times and spoken with other staff about the same issue without providing any useful information. I believe this is a scam!
