They started by reading my name, saying ‘You’ve got an important message. This isn't telemarketing, please select...’ My info is obviously compromised, what a joke!
I've received two calls from this number today, especially while I'm sorting my bills. Enough already, AGL! Time to look into another provider, I reckon.
Seriously? Pay your bill on time? How about you pay attention to not scamming people instead, genius!
Thankyou... AGL. Rang on 2 different numbers. Was only a few days late, not months. Our records re payment should show we are nearly always prompt. Like any human may forget for a few days. Have tried other companies and they are just as hopeless.
Anyone else sick of AGL constantly ringing? It's like my phone’s turned into a harassing machine – UGH!
This number repeatedly calls me regarding payment issues, even though I'm enrolled in bill smoothing. I'm fed up with their calls and messages, especially since I haven't received any notifications via the app. Due to a recent $600 bill, I will be switching providers.
The caller claimed to be from AGL and stated that I owed $50, which is below the threshold where utility companies can pursue payments. The woman on the call was very rude. I am now considering changing my energy provider due to this experience.
I received four harassment calls in one day after being three days late on a $35.42 AGL bill. These calls are excessive and seem unnecessary for such a small delay.
I received an automated message claiming to be from AGL, but it felt suspicious, and I suspect it might be a scam attempt.
I've received three calls from this number within just one hour. I believe it's from AGL, as they are pressuring me despite the fact that I'm switching to another energy supplier. My final bill is due on September 9th, yet AGL keeps calling me for payment reminders starting from only two days after the bill was issued, which I find very annoying.
I received an automated call claiming to be from AGL regarding a late bill. They had my name, which makes it seem legitimate, but I wouldn't trust them with any sensitive information like credit card details. I suggest that they should have a real person call if they need personal information.
This appears to be AGL trying to convince customers to sign contracts for prepaid electricity. This 12-month payment plan requires customers to pay for electricity in advance as a solution to the unreasonable rate hikes.
The call was from AGL, inquiring about late payments. They come across as quite arrogant, especially considering their annual income of $15.4 billion and their tax evasion.
I am getting increasingly frustrated with this number; it keeps calling me without any clear purpose or explanation.
This call is definitely a scam! I would strongly advise anyone not to share their credit card details if they receive a call from this number.
AGL has called me on two different numbers already. I am only two days late on my bill, and I feel that this constant calling is harassment.
AGL keeps calling me repeatedly, harassing me because my BPAY payment was late for my payment arrangement. Their persistent calls are very frustrating.
I received two calls from this number yesterday, but they did not leave a voicemail. My mobile indicated that the call originated from the Engadine area.
This number calls me every single day, even after I've blocked them. The constant harassment is becoming extremely frustrating for me.
This call is a major scam! I have never had any accounts with AGL, so there is no way I could owe money on an account that doesn't exist. AGL needs to do a better job of preventing their company name from being used to scam innocent individuals.
I received four calls in one day from (02) 8503 4691, and they never leave a voicemail. I only owe $50, and as a pensioner, I don’t appreciate how this electricity provider is continually harassing their customers. If they are concerned about the balance, they could simply add it to my next bill instead of making these constant calls.
An individual claiming to be from eBay contacted me regarding a supposed $799 transaction on my account. They requested that I verify my account, but I refused to engage with them.
I received a notification that this number called me, but even after blocking them, they continue to call repeatedly.
This is a new one for me. I never answer unknown numbers anymore, I wait to see if they leave a message, most don't, this one just said PRESS 1. Pigs might fly.
The caller claimed to be from AGL and was searching for someone named MacGregor. This appears to be a scam.
It's from a representative of AGL Power company.
AGL.. didn’t leave a message. So I called back.
