Just listened to my messages on 101 jason O'Connor left a message 11th may 10am claiming a law suit against us and that the police would be executing a warrant for our arrest, smells like a scam.
The 2nd time they called my wife answered and couldn't even understand the guy so they rang back with a better speaking guy and left a message, so I thought f*k it and rang them back, I asked him a simple question that any aussie could answer and he kept changing the subject so I gave him a mouth full and said if he rang again I'd track him down and f*k him up, I hate scammers.
I received this call today at 11 AM on my answering machine.
Thought you might be interested and it sounds like a ATO hoax call to me.
Thank You.
I had a call from the today as well. Calling the police and letting them know.
Yes, today I also had a message from an Indian caller from this number claiming to be from the Taxation Office. A liar!
Same as above comments. Jason O'Connor pretending to be from the Tax Dept.
Hi.
This low life JASON O'CONNOR rang my 67 yr old mother x2 in one day on 10 May 2016. Left a threatening message that she had a law suit against her for tax invasion and was going to charged. Even though I re assured her she is stil frightened by this.
Be aware they use different numbers, slight amendment on the voice format. ATO website warns against such scams.
Be alerted everyone. This is a SCAM.
Liar and pretend to be ATO officer.
This is a supposed phone number for the ATO in "Canberra".
Community reports are retained as historical safety signals within the Reverseau telecommunications safety dataset and may reflect different experiences over time.
