Oi! This number rings me at least a few times a day! It's marked as spam, but these annoying buggers just won’t quit!
Christina from Vodafone Central called to introduce their services, providing information about potential offers and assistance.
Scam, Pretending to be CBA.
The caller mentioned a woman named Emma from Telstra and claimed that my IP address was public. He asked me to check my IP details, which raised my suspicions about the legitimacy of the call.
705556: The caller knew my name but was pretending to be from PayPal. This raises a red flag to me, as it indicates they may not be who they claim to be.
Lately, I have received numerous calls from NSW numbers, and they consistently fail to leave a message. I answered one of the calls, and they simply hung up on me.
I suspect this is a scam call as the caller, who was in a noisy call center environment, pretended to be from Amazon and tried to confirm an order for an iPhone 14. They mentioned that $1,020 would be charged to my credit card; however, the call abruptly ended after I confirmed that I had placed the order.
I answered a call from someone claiming to be a Telstra employee. The call was from the UK, and they offered to help me with security issues on my device, which I do not have. When I questioned their authenticity, they became extremely pushy and rude. After hanging up, they called me back from the same number, confirming it's a scam.
The caller pretended to be from the VISA call center, likely trying to obtain sensitive information.
I answered the call, but it only lasted for about 3 seconds before the caller hung up. This behavior seems suspicious and may suggest a scam.
