Got a call from a lady with an African accent claiming she was from the Queensland Business Development Office, but funny enough, she was calling from NSW! She wanted to know if we were looking to move. Couldn’t be bothered and just hung up.
Fair dinkum, don't waste your time answering this lot – they're absolute scammers!
These muppets keep ringing me non-stop! They're rude, and the moment I answer, they just hang up. Total waste of my time!
Just hang up on this drongo immediately! Don't waste your time, mate!
So, this fella from some NSW Business Development was mumbling on the line, but I could barely hear him! Said they were after info for a new office, but when I told 'em they were barking up the wrong tree, they just hung up. What a strange vibe!
Just like everyone else here, they asked if we're still hunting for new premises. When I said, 'Mate, what are you on about?' they hung up faster than a kangaroo on caffeine.
Unable to hear the Indian sounding lady clearly as she sounded like she was in a wind storm. She was pleasant when I asked her to repeat where she was calling from and what she was requesting. Claiming to be from The Western Australian Business Development office or something (couldn't hear the last bit). Apparently doing their annual calls to small businesses to see if we are STILL looking for office space. I said no and haven't for years. How would they know if we were and then she claimed that it was a Governmental request that they ring annually to ask this question to small businesses. WHAT???? Thankfully she was polite and she wished us all the best. We tend to get many callers like this but they give spoofing their numbers. Also if they were calling from WA they wouldn't have an 02 in the number....
This bloke with a thick accent calls up asking if we’re pleased with our office move. I reply, “You’ve got the wrong number, mate,” and he just hangs up. Obvious scam fishing for a “yes” answer. Blocked it right away and reported it as spam!
This bloke won't give it a rest, keeps ringing and harassing us with the same boring questions! If we could block him, we would. Seriously, just mate, take a hint and buzz off already!
Got a call from some rude a-hole asking if we were still on the hunt for new office space. Told him we weren’t and that jerk hung up on me! What a plonker.
Great, I got yet another call from this number today. What’s with these random callers? They really need to get a better hobby.
Ugh, this number is back at it again! Every few months they come calling, asking that annoying question about moving offices. Doesn’t matter what I say, they just hang up like it’s a game. Never talking to them again!
This call was all about when we're moving offices, and they were just reading off a script—what a nuisance, mate! Honestly, some people!
I can't believe the abuse I copped from this lot claiming to be from NSW Business Development. First call, I politely said I wasn’t interested, and next thing you know, I’m getting slammed with foul language and harassment! This bloke wouldn't stop ringing, and I reckon he only called to hurl insults. So, here’s a heads-up – steer clear of them!
Took a call from this number who said she was calling from 'Australian Business Development' wanting to know if our office was still relocating.
Super spammy and suspicious!
Had an awkward call from this number—they asked if we found a new office place. When I said we’re good, they just went mute. Super dodgy vibes there…it’s best to be cautious!
Today, I had this bloke ring me asking if we had 'secured new premises' for the workplace. When I pressed him on where he thought we were, he hung up. Seems a bit fishy, doesn't it?
Had a strange call claiming to be from the Queensland Economic Development Office or something like that. They were prying about when we were moving. I told them we weren't, but they just wouldn’t drop it! Weird vibes, I’d be cautious!
So, I got a call from the NSW Business Development Office asking about finding a new office location. Felt a bit off, especially when they decided to hang up on me! What’s that all about?"
They rang claiming to be from the NSW Business Development Office, asked me when I was relocating, but as soon as I said we’re not moving, they just hung up.
I had this call - and I asked how old is this enquiry and he hung up hahahah.
Seriously, whatever you do, don’t say yes to their questions! It really screams scam or spam. We're a big business and get lots of calls, but these clowns are next level silly!
We have had 5 calls from this man, allegedly named Michael from "Business Development". Wanted to speak to another member of staff, and wanted to know if we had found a new office location or are still looking. I told him we are not looking, and he got frustrated and asked to speak to the other staff member. When I said they weren't available, he hung up.
Had a bloke with a really thick Indian accent trying to chat me up about contacting my manager and moving offices. Didn't feel right at all, so I asked for a website, but he kept avoiding it until he hung up, sensing I was onto him.
This caller claimed to be from business services and inquired if I was moving. When I refused to provide any information and hung up, the caller called back and insisted, but I could not understand him well due to a strong accent. Frustrated, I told him no, and he responded with rude language. This interaction definitely felt like a scam attempt.
SCAMMER - very pushy Indian man asking if the office is relocating and won't take no for an answer. Hang up straight away if you get a call.
I received two calls from a person named Michael in one day, inquiring if we had found a new office location. When I informed him that we weren't looking for a new office, he responded in an unprofessional manner, yelling at me and calling me derogatory names.
Kept saying "we were aware that your office is moving" Indian dude.
I received a call where the caller inquired if we were "aware that your office is moving." I expressed doubt about their incorrect number, and despite repeating my answer, they abruptly hung up.
