I received a call from this number where the caller claimed to be from my energy company. He had some of my personal details and insisted that I could receive a 17% discount on my energy bill as an "early payment" bonus. The caller was very persistent, which I found quite annoying.

I found it hard to understand the call, but it seemed like they were discussing rates and charges. This feels like a scam to me.
When I answered the phone, a man with a thick Indian accent asked me if I was the land owner. I was confused and asked what land he was referring to, and he specified "land in NSW or ACT." I told him I do not own any land, and he hung up immediately.
I answered the call, greeted them a couple of times, but received no response, so I decided to hang up and block the number.
