I hung up during the first call and have been receiving calls daily from this number without any messages left in my voicemail. It's frustrating and feels like a nuisance.
I’m not surprised to see this number has been reported here already. I've also been receiving calls from a very similar number that ends in 44 instead of 40. Today alone, I received five unrecognized calls—two from NSW (02), two from Victoria (03), and one from Queensland (07). I am on the 'Do Not Call' list, yet these annoying interruptions persist.
This phone number has been identified as spam. I declined the call and opted to block the number.
This number is from another scammer. I've blocked it to prevent further calls.
An unknown number called me and rang for about four times before hanging up without leaving a message. I chose to let it go to voicemail, but I remain wary as I do not know who it was.
After getting calls that hang up after answer from 0279087740.0279087743 & 0279087811 for weeks on end, rang number back and took option to "opt out of call list" twice, then received another call from "breast cancer charity" and verbally requested to be taken out of call list, received a sarcastic reply of "Thank you SO MUCH" from woman who sounded Australian.
Hope this is the end of them calling me.
