I received a recorded automated message claiming to be an "epidemic emergency notice" with options for different language speakers to press numbers. This clearly seems like a scam, and I recommend blocking this number immediately!
I missed a call from this number, but I listened to the voicemail afterward. It was a recorded automated message stating "epidemic emergency notice." It provided options for Australian users to press 1, and for Chinese or international students to press another number. The content was alarming, and I chose to stop listening.
After disconnecting from the call, I dialed the number back only to find out that it was 'not connected,' as per Optus's message.
I received a robocall with a pre-recorded message that mimicked a government organization. The message warned about an 'epidemic emergency notice' and asked me to indicate whether I was an Australian or Chinese citizen. I believe this call was a scam attempt.
I received a call that seemed like a random inquiry. I got a sense that it could be a scam, but I'm not entirely sure about it.
