I got a call during dinner at 6 PM. Based on the comments I've read from others, I have decided to block this number to avoid future issues.
I received one call from this number, but it was missed. After checking the report, I believe it to be a scammer, so I have blocked the number.
Didn’t answer. They left a message asking which party I would vote for if there was a National election now.
Press 1 for Liberal.
Press 2 for Greens.
Etc etc.
The phone rang three times from this number, but since I don’t answer calls from numbers I don’t recognize, I am planning to block this number to avoid any potential issues.

This number appears to be from scammers using a cloned identity, making it seem like the call originates from a small rural village southwest of Canberra.

I received a call from an unknown number that originated from rural New South Wales. I chose to let it ring without answering since I believe that if it's important, they will call back. They did not call back.

I receive nearly 10 scam calls every day, indicating a serious weakness in the Australian Telecommunication services. Despite registering for the “Do Not Call” list, these annoying calls keep coming in, and it seems like no one is taking responsibility for this issue!
I received a call from Tathra, NSW. They left an automated voicemail regarding upcoming elections.
There was a long pause after I answered, followed by an automated message that said, "This is a Redbridge survey." I immediately hung up and blocked the number.
This number contacts you and if you answer, it redirects your call to someone else, making it appear that you are the one making calls, which can make you seem like a scammer. This practice should be investigated by the police.
