Beware of 02 6325 6967, a number reported by users as a scam caller offering dubious technical support for internet issues. Learn how to handle a call from this number.

If you’ve recently received a call from 02 6325 6967 / 0263256967, you’re not alone in your concerns. This number has been flagged by multiple users as a scam caller offering phony technical support for internet services. The experience reported by one unfortunate recipient highlights the deceptive tactics employed by such scammers.

On 12 February 2020, a user recounted a call that started with a recorded message indicating their internet would be disconnected unless they switched to broadband. Adding to the urgency, the message prompted the recipient to press 1 for technical assistance. However, once the call was connected to a supposed "technician," it became clear that this was merely a ploy to extract information from unsuspecting individuals.

Scam calls like this can often verge on sophisticated. The technician, likely reading from a script, attempted to sound knowledgeable while spewing jargon meant to confuse the recipient. Ultimately, this is a classic example of a tech support scam where vulnerable individuals may be manipulated into handing over sensitive information or making unnecessary payments for services they don’t need.

Identifying a scam call can sometimes be tricky, but there are clear indicators. Rushed high-pressure tactics, a lack of verifiable company information, and unexpected calls regarding your service are all potential red flags. It is always wise to hang up if you feel uneasy, then conduct a Reverse Phone Lookup Australia to confirm the legitimacy of the caller.

For those receiving calls from 02 6325 6967 / 0263256967, the safest approach is to hang up immediately. You may also consider blocking the number and reporting it to relevant telecommunications authority. By being proactive, you can protect yourself from falling prey to such scams.

Stay alert, and if your phone rings with a number you don't recognise, don't hesitate to investigate further. Utilising resources like Reverseau can easily help you discern who might be on the other end of the line with just a few clicks. Remember, when in doubt, trust your instincts and verify before engaging.

About This Report

This page is part of the Reverseau Scam Intelligence Database, a community-driven dataset maintained by Reverseau since 2014. The database documents caller behaviour across Australian phone numbers based on first-hand user experiences.

Each entry is generated when individuals who received calls or messages from a number submit a report through our review form. Reports include a caller safety rating (1–5 scale) and a written account of the interaction. All submissions are moderated before publication.

The safety rating shown on this page reflects the collective assessment of (02) 6325 6967 by real users. It measures perceived caller risk, not the quality of this page. A low rating indicates that reporters consider this number likely to be associated with scam or spam activity.
