Thank god I read all this. I got a call from this number the guy left a message saying he is from ATO and to call or the police is coming. I thought WTF I haven't done anything wrong and this is not how ATO works.

I received a call from this number and he claimed to be an high level ATO officer which is a Scam. I was threatened with immediate arrest in an hour if I did not go the bank and make a cash payment urgently. Those guys needs to arrested..

Received a call this morning advising that if our Boss did not call back within 45 minutes, he would be arrested at his home. The caller had a thick Indian accent and a very bad line (echoing and crackly) claimed to be "John Hudson" from the ATO.

I got a voice mail on my work phone. The person from the taxation department did not speak clearly, a thick accent and slow soft voice, threatened various actions unless responded.

I am live in Darwin, and constantly received this telephone call from this number 02 61721216, which claimed from Financial Director of ATO. Someone, a Man with the Indian or Pakistan accent.

It seems this is still happening as I have received calls on both my mobile and landline from a 'Peter Ross' claiming to be from the ATO making various threats. Luckily messages have been left on both occasions... I have not actually spoken to anyone.

I got a call from this number at work saying they are from the ATO - asking for my mobile as there was a law suit against me. Complete rubbish and rang again a few days later. Do not give any personal information!!!!

Hi all, please be aware, this is a scam.

I just had a call from them saying they were the ATO, I told them I was bill Clinton, the he started to raise his voice and swore at me, and called me a terrorist. Please just hang up, its not the ATO, and you won't be arrested, PLEASE DOn't GIVE ANY CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION TO THIS MOB!!!

I received a call from this number which turned out to be a ATO Scam. I was threatened with immediate arrest if I did not go the bank and make a cash payment immediately. Absolute scum bags!! Be aware.
