PayPal scam PHN NUMBER ON EMAIL FOR VIRUS PAYMENT OF $900.00 +
Number included with fake PayPal email about a McAfee purchase I didn't make. I get these several times a week. They hope you'll call the number and dispute the non-existent charge, so they can get you to provide data about yourself. Don't call unless it's from your hated ex's phone:)
Scam coming from email about PayPal.
“”Mcafee total protc “ alarm bells right there that they can’t spell.
A similar Scam from "PayPal" invoice for AUD 985.85 for Mcafee.
Scam email from Indian scammers impersonating PayPal. "Your Mcafee Secure purchase of AUD 972.72 has been finalized." McAfee is much cheaper than that! I called them and told them I was with the FBI that scared them off!!
Included with a scam email that I am receiving almost daily now. Pretends to be from PayPal, but it's a very obvious fake. Includes a number to call and dispute the sale but all they want is to steal your identity. Redirects to an indian accented man somewhere. Doesn't sound like a call centre.
This phone number was referenced in a phishing email, which raises concerns about its legitimacy.
I received an email that I suspect is spam, claiming that an antivirus software has taken money from my account.
