Got a call from this number at 11 am, Jan 13.

Unfamiliar.02 prefix is NSW or Canberra (a long, long way from me). I didn't answer. It didn't leave any vital message, after that (ie, it had nothing really important or urgent to say). I called the number back from my other mobile (USING NUMBER SENDING SENDING TURNED OFF!) to find that the number apparently is "not presently receiving calls". That ticked all the primary boxes as a nuisance trash call.

I received a call today at 12:23, As I did not recognise the number, I let it go to the answering machine. They did not leave a message. I have blocked the number. Thank you to the other review which mentioned a PayPal scam from this number. I feel better about not answering now.

Somebody rang me using this number to inform that my PayPal account has been hacked. But I don't have any PayPal account. And he was asking for PayPal text code and bank card detail to solve the problem. It can be conformed that he was a scammer.

I had a missed call from this number. I called them back and they claimed to be PayPal.

Wanted me to confirm my name and I wouldn't provide it but asked other questions. They then said excuse me Mr ______... I stopped them there and said how did you know my name... Guess what, he hung up the phone.

Apparently it is involving fraudulent activities involving buying a $200 kettle from Victoria.
